Zones

Acapulco Tradicional

Traditional Zone

Located in the western side of Acapulco and surrounded by exotic vegetation, this area is for those who want to remember the "Golden Years" when the Hollywood gang used to hang around.

Is important to mention that neither of the hotels belong to a big hotel chain, however the guests have the opportunity to stay in the same place movie stars used to 50 years ago. Nowadays the glamour people had back then is almost gone. But still this zone offers a non commercial, quiet environment. To get there you have to go up in the hills; meanwhile you can admire the beautiful view. They have no beach access.

Acapulco Dorado

Golden Zone

Lots of people, traffic, neon lights, you can say this area is the heart of Acapulco. The hotels are located close to the beach and some others are over the mountains , with the best view of the bay ( these hotels are a little bit far from the city activity, but if you are looking for plenty of rest this is your option).

The guests have great access to the shopping malls, flea markets, restaurants, bars and discotheques.

Acapulco Diamante

Diamond Zone

Is a modern and exclusive zone that includes Revolcadero Beach (it is not recommended to swim there due to the high waves) and Puerto Marques Beach (ideal to swim, the water is calm).

Because this zone is near the airport, it offers great golf courses. There are no shopping malls nearby or restaurants.
Is important to mention that big hotel chains and condos practically dominate the Diamond Zone area. If you want to go to the heart of Acapulco (to the downtown for example) you have to keep in mind that it will take you 20 or 40 minutes approximately to get there, of course depending how far you are going.
